downfall of civilization

I attended the fireworks tonight at Sail Fest in New London, this time properly armed with my camera’s tripod and a newly-purchased cable release. Some of these really came out well.

I went down to the waterfront of New London the other night so that I could take some long exposure photos.

Same subjects and date as before, only this is from the roll of black & white film I used. I think that they came out much better—there’s something about black & white film that just brings out the character, I think.

These are some photographs I took of two bridges in between Groton and New London, for my dad’s birthday. I took some black & whites, too, and I’m going to blow one or two up to poster size for my dad’s office. Thought I’d share these:
